My wife and I enjoyed our stay and use of Payne Meadows for our wedding. The owner was very easy to work with and has done a great job maintaining, landscaping, and hosting at the venue. My wife got ready in the farmhouse on property and we both stayed there the night of the wedding. It was spacious, cozy, photogenic, and an all around pleasant experience.

We highly recommend this venue for whatever event you may be planning!

First reaction from my wife and I when visiting Payne Meadows during our search for the right venue for our wedding was how beautiful the property is. Immediately we knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding before we ever spoke with owner and proprietor Robert Payne. As we drove up leading to the farmhouse we immediately could see the beautiful landscape and rustic barn. Cows were grazing in the pasture and the sounds from the rippling water coming from the creek were present. My wife and I started visualizing immediately how this would play out on our special day. When Robert arrived just minutes after us, he immediately made us feel like we were family. His tour of the property and made us realize our search was over. We had found the place knowing our journey would start right here. Robert was extremely accommodating and provided more than we asked and was there on our special day to make sure everything went as planned. The farmhouse is inviting, cozy and clean, and has enough room for family members and friends. Robert, we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and the joy you help us create doing our blessed day.

We are so glad we chose Payne Meadows as our wedding venue! Great size for what we wanted and a very pretty setting. Overall, it is one of the best values around. The house on-site was great for getting ready and also for housing some of our bridal party for the weekend. Robert was very helpful in answering questions we had and also being there for the day of. Even on one of the hottest days in July, it wasn’t miserable by any means. A lot of the property was in the shade by 6pm so it was perfect! Would highly recommend this venue!

We did our wedding here and the Robert, the owner, was super accommodating. Something fresh about this place is that you have free reign of the whole property and you even get use of the farm house for the days you rent the venue. This was so helpful for the wedding party to come beforehand and set up everything the day before and for people to sleep the night of the wedding instead of having to clean up and get out of there right away. The kids loved being able to run around and explore the creek and the woods and play in the barn. Such a fun experience and you get to enjoy the place alone but Robert stops and checks on you to make sure all is well and is always a phone call away. It was a perfect day and stay!

The only recommendations to the owner are minor: the pilot lights in the house kept going out for the gas heaters... This is only a problem during the cold months. The second issue was that the back screen door wasn't really secure and the house doors didn't lock well. One of the bedrooms is right inside the back screen door. It's in the country, so it's safe, and nobody is going to come mess around a house with vehicles at it. Thirdly, no doors to keep master bedroom private.

Barn, beautiful, and nice with plenty of outlets and extra supplies.

House, very warm and accommodating and fully furnished, including television. It's nice to wake up the next day and cleanup after the wedding.

Our overall experience was absolutely wonderful and we have zero regrets about using Payne Meadows! It was such a blessing from start to finish and everything went so perfect and smoothly!
